Senior Director of Licensing/Business Development This West Coast development stage pharmaceutical company is a world authority on carbohydrate science and technology. The Senior Director of Licensing / Business Development will be responsible for spearheading selective in-licensing opportunities consistent with the company’s scientific and corporate objectives. This will include profiling target companies, presenting opportunities to potential partners, assessing competitors’ technologies, structuring term sheets and/or Letters of Agreement for in-license arrangements, and negotiating contracts and the terms approved by Senior Management. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a B.S. degree in Life Science. An Advance Degree in the sciences or an MBA would be preferred. They will have 10 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience with at least 5 years in business development and marketing functions. Experience in strategic business development with a significant focus on in-licensing of late stage/marketed products is desired. [ back ]
