Chief Executive Officer This East Coast development stage company is developing vaccines that use proprietary molecules to activate the immune system and elicit a more precise and effective immune response. The Chief Executive
Officer will be responsible for directing the overall resources of the
company, both human and financial, ensuring optimal resource allocation
necessary to achieve the company’s objectives. The CEO will be responsible for setting the
company’s scientific and operational direction, and fostering a highly professional
and productive environment. In
addition he/she will be responsible for insuring that the technology is being
suitably developed in order to establish strategic alliances with potential
partners. The CEO will serve as the
company’s chief spokesperson in all interactions with the members of the
Board of Directors, potential partners, and other key parties and
investors. The CEO must be able to
manage the operational aspects of an emerging company The
successful candidate will possess an advanced degree in an appropriate
scientific discipline with 5-10 years building an outstanding track record
within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industries, including
significant leadership roles. A
background in the vaccine industry, including familiarity with vaccine
regulatory issues, and the ability to promote collaborations with vaccine
companies is also highly desirable.
Experience in infectious diseases or cancer therapeutic vaccines would
