Director, Business Development This East Coast mid-size
international, biopharmaceutical company has a focused mission to discovery,
develop and market innovative products to treat neurological and sleep
disorders, cancer and pain. The Director, Business
Development will be responsible for identifying selective product
in-licensing opportunities consistent with the company’s scientific and
corporate objectives. This will
include profiling target companies, presenting opportunities to management,
assessing potential competitors’ technologies, structuring term sheets,
performing financial analysis for in-licensing opportunities and
participating in negotiating to bring deals to successful closure. The ideal candidate will
possess a B.S. degree preferably in a science discipline. Ad advanced degree (Ph.D. or MBA) would be
a plus. A minimum of 5 years
pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience with at least 3 years in
