Chief Operating Officer This West Coast development stage company has a near-term focused mission to develop safe, non-cytotoxic cancer therapies. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the company’s drug development efforts. The position will be focused on delivering lead compounds through the discovery process and managing the transition into pre-clinical and clinical development phases. Specifically this position will provide leadership to several multi-functional project teams investigating established compounds, as well as identifying new technology and product opportunities. This position will be viewed as a key member of the management team and a leading source of scientific expertise and leadership within the company. The ideal candidate will possess an M.D. with Board Certification in Hematology / Oncology with a minimum of 12 years pharmaceutical and / or biotechnology industry experience, including significant leadership roles. Broad managerial experience leading multi-disciplinary Research and Development functions with a strong scientific focus in oncology is also essential. [ back ]
