Director, Clinical Research,
Oncology This East Coast mid-sized
biopharmaceutical company is developing advanced therapeutics for
life-threatening diseases through the application of its proprietary drug
delivery and targeting technology.
They currently have three marketed products as well as several
products in various stages of clinical development by themselves and with
partners. They plan to expand their
existing product pipeline by concentrating on the strength of their
technologies. They also will build
toward the future with strategic alliances and acquisitions which will
provide access to new technologies and products. The Director, Clinical
Research, Oncology will be responsible for overseeing clinical development
projects in oncology from Phase I through Phase III/IIIB. He/She will formulate the clinical strategy
for development compounds, develop clinical protocols and provide input and
review financial clinical study reports.
Additionally, the Director will provide guidance on all medical /
clinical issues to associates on the project team. The ideal candidate will
be a Board Certified M.D. with a specialty focus in Oncology, Hematology,
Immunology or Internal Medicine with appropriate oncology experience. They will have a minimum of three years
experience (academic and / or industry) as a clinical investigator on
oncology drugs. They should possess a
strong record of clinical achievements and have developed successful
networking relationships with opinion leaders and investigators in the field
