Vice President, Pre-Clinical
Development This Metro New York newly
created, venture backed drug discovery and development company is focused on
developing a novel therapeutic approach to a wide range of genetic disorders. The Vice President of
Pre-Clinical Development will be responsible for strategically leading all
issues pertaining to moving compounds through the drug development
pipeline. This will include
positioning programs for pre-clinical and clinical development, as well as providing
necessary guidance to the company’s basic science project teams. This position will have a great deal of
interaction with clinical research organizations, as well as potential
pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical partners. The ideal candidate will
possess a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Drug Metabolism, Toxicology, Pharmaceutics,
Biochemistry, Formulations or other related scientific discipline. Approximately ten years of pharmaceutical
and / or biotechnology experience is required along with a thorough understanding
of the drug development process with particular emphasis on issues related to
