Vice President, Research & Development A West Coast privately held
"start-up" biotechnology company which aims to be the leader in the
field of CNS disease treatment using molecular medicine is seeking a Vice
President of Research and Development. Reporting directly to the President and
COO, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership
for the company's research and development of novel genetic therapeutics for
the treatment of neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a
pharmaceutical related science, preferably Neurobiology, Pharmacology or
Biochemistry. A minimum of 10 years of
neuroscience expertise within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
that includes significant leadership roles is required. Experience working with biologists is
