Vice President, General Manager A West Coast privately held “start-up” drug development company with a novel therapeutic agent is seeking a Vice President, General Manager. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, General Manager will be accountable for leading and managing drug development projects through successful development. This individual will work closely with senior management, line management and external collaborators to develop project strategies and plans, along with internal and external groups to ensure timely execution of the plans. The ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree within the life sciences (a Ph.D. is a plus) and a minimum of 8-12 years experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry. Project management and direct management experience in at least one area of drug development is essential. Demonstrated record of achievement in leading project teams through product development is essential. [ back ]
