Senior Vice President, Research and Development A West Coast based biotechnology company with a committed technology platform that allows for the development of highly localized, site-specific gene therapy products for tissue repair and regeneration, is looking to fill a newly created position, Senior Vice President, Research and Development. The position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, will be viewed as a key member of the management team and a leading source of scientific expertise and leadership within the company. This individual will be responsible for fostering a highly professional and productive scientific drug development environment. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific discipline with a minimum of twelve years pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience, including significant leadership roles and experience leading multi-disciplinary Research and Development functions.
