Director of Microbiology Our client, a New Jersey based
Pharmaceutical Company, is currently in search of a Director of Microbiology.
This essential role will be responsible for developing, implementing and
coordinating appropriate scientific/technical processes and testing systems
to assure new and existing products conform to required specifications,
company quality standards, cGMP and FDA regulations. By providing leadership
and effecting cohesive teamwork this position will direct all analysis
programs, methods validation and stability sample testing of raw materials,
manufacturing facilities, in-process samples and finished product. A key
challenge will be validating a new sterile laboratory facility as well as
hiring and developing new staff. The successful candidate will have a strong technical as well as managerial background. A minimum of a Bachelors degree in microbiology or other related scientific field, and approximately 10 years of pharmaceutical experience is required. An advanced degree is preferred. [ back ]
