Current Searches Product Development Team Leader This East Coast rapidly growing biotechnology company is focused in the areas of infectious diseases, cancer and inflammatory diseases. The Product Development Team Leader will be responsible and accountable for leading one or more product development teams. The leader will ensure that optimal development strategies that align to corporate objectives and to the strategic plan for the therapeutic area are in place and are executed to agreed time, quality and budget objectives. The Product Development Team Leader will be responsible for generating a product life cycle plan to deliver maximum value throughout the life of the product. Opportunities exist to lead both early phase projects (emerging from Research) right through to launched products. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree; post-graduate qualification is preferred. (PhD, MD, MBA etc.). Proven management and/or leadership experience in an R&D or commercial context within pharma and/or biotech. In-depth knowledge and experience of the global drug development and commercialization process. Experience with biologic and/or vaccine projects. Experience in more than one therapeutic area. Experience in global late phase (II/III) drug development, regulatory submissions (BLA/MAA) and product launch.
