Current Searches Senior Vice President, Research & Development Operations The company is an emerging biopharmaceutical company with highly advanced compounds in late stage clinical development. This dynamic organization has attracted a highly competitive, results-oriented Senior Management Team and Board of Directors with strong track records of success. The SVP of Research Operations will drive the development of the Company’s portfolio of product candidates to meet the strategic vision and goals of the company. This position will ensure projects operate efficiently and effectively by supplementing the technical skills within R&D with general management, cross-functional, and project management skills. The SVP will be knowledgeable of and will train R&D staff on best practices in pharmaceutical product development. Time is of the essence. Meeting tight timelines and achieving aggressive milestones are the norm. The SVP will be responsible for all budgets, forecasts, planning, goals and analysis for R&D, including but not limited to budgeting/forecasting, product reviews, board materials and ad hoc analyses and projects. This position will be also being an active and integral member of the company’s management team, and the Portfolio Management Committee (PMC). The candidate must posses a Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific discipline with a minimum of 15-20 years pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience, including significant leadership roles.
