Director, Project Management The Director of Project Management for this suburban Philadelphia pharmaceutical services company will be responsible for leading and managing the overall project management function for the division and will establish the recognition that Project Management is a critical and integral part of the project team process. This will involve developing and maintaining the application of project planning and management processes in order to insure the timely, effective and quality completion of drug development projects for client companies. The Director will set strategies and implement operating plans for the department and be responsible for directing, training and developing the Project Managers and other staff. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in the life sciences; a Ph.D. and/or MBA would be a plus; solid scientific background in pharmaceutical drug development with at least seven years of experience in a project management function and have a thorough knowledge of project planning and management and understand how to effectively integrate project plans within the overall organization.
