Divisional Vice President - Institutional Sales & Marketing The Divisional Vice President,
Institutional Sales & Marketing, for this Southern California based
pharmaceutical company will be primarily responsible for providing the
strategic direction and leadership to a newly formed divisional sales
organization. This will involve staffing and developing a high performance
team of sales managers and sales representatives, as well as creating and
executing innovative marketing and sales strategies that generate new
business and build long-term customer alliances with major hospitals and
institutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in science or business and an advanced degree in business. At least ten to fifteen years of pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience with five years management experience dealing with large hospitals, institutions, buying groups and the managed care environment. Experience and knowledge of the antibiotic and oncology therapeutic areas are a plus. [ back ]
