Head of Licensing & Acquisitions The Head of Licensing & Acquisitions for this Northeastern company will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of strategic partnering opportunities for marketed products, as well as possible mergers or acquisitions. This includes evaluating potential acquisition candidates to determine compatibility with overall company strategy and product portfolio and to determine short and long term financial impact. This individual will be responsible for developing and negotiating initial contract parameters for acquisition candidates; identifying potential corporate collaborators for the joint marketing of existing products and developing and negotiating opportunities with these partners. The ideal candidate for this position will have significant industry experience with a track record of success in business development, licensing or mergers and acquisitions. A high level of creativity and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to identify business opportunities is essential. A strong academic grounding, both in science and business is essential.
